The University of Greenwich is a public university located in London and Kent, United Kingdom. Previous names include Woolwich Polytechnic and Thames Polytechnic.
The university's main campus is at the Old Royal Naval College, which, along with its Avery Hill campus, is located in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Greenwich also has a campus in Medway, Kent, as part of a shared campus.
The university's range of subjects includes architecture, business, computing, mathematics, education, engineering, humanities, maritime studies, natural sciences, pharmacy and social sciences. Greenwich's alumni include two Nobel laureates: Abiy Ahmed and Charles K. Kao. It received an overall Gold rating in the UK government's Teaching Excellence Framework.

Academic disciplines at Greenwich are organized into four faculties, which host a range of subject expertise within them;

School fees information
Undergraduates fees
- Tuition fees for full-time students are £9,250 per year for 3 or 4-year undergraduate degrees and top-up degrees.
- Fees for full-time students studying foundation degrees are £8,750
Postgraduates fees
- If you are a home student, studying either full-time or part-time for a postgraduate degree, you can apply for a government-funded loan to help you fund your postgraduate course as well as any associated living costs. This loan is only repayable once you start earning a certain amount and is weighted so you don't pay more than you can afford.
- When you apply to do a postgraduate degree, you are eligible for a non-means tested tuition fee loan of up to £12,167. In order to be considered, you need to meet the following criteria:
- You are under 60 years of age.
- The course you are applying for is a full taught, research, distance-learning or professional masters typically involving 180 credits.
- You have resided in England for the last three years or more on the first day of the course.
- Masters loans are available for students who have lived in the EU for at least three years before the start of the course. They are not available for international students.
